Microsoft Copilot Cowork
Microsoft Copilot Cowork: generative AI and business automation for teams
As a Managed Intelligence Provider, Axon helps you move beyond individual assistants. Microsoft Cowork brings shared AI workspaces into Microsoft 365 - so your team can plan, draft and decide together in the flow of work.
Book your AI strategy consultationWhat is Microsoft Copilot Cowork?
Microsoft Copilot Cowork is a collaborative AI experience inside Microsoft 365 that gives teams a shared workspace where AI is a participant rather than a personal assistant. Prompts, context, drafts and decisions live in one place, grounded in your tenant's own content and permissions. It complements Microsoft Copilot and wider AI consultancy work rather than replacing it.
Collaboration, with AI as a teammate.
Most AI tools are built for one person at a time. Microsoft Cowork takes a different approach - it sits inside your team's shared spaces in Teams, Loop and the Office apps, where briefs are written together, decisions are made together and work is shipped together.
Instead of every person re-prompting from scratch, Cowork keeps the context, the working draft and the AI participant alive across the team. That means less duplication, better continuity between meetings and a single source of truth for the work in flight.
For IT, Cowork inherits the same identity, compliance and data boundaries as the rest of Microsoft 365 - so adoption doesn't come at the cost of governance.
What Microsoft Cowork brings to your team
Shared AI capabilities, grounded in your Microsoft 365 tenant, designed for the way modern teams actually work.
Shared AI workspaces
Bring people, prompts and content into one persistent space so your team can co-create with AI without losing context between meetings, chats and documents.
In-flow collaboration
Cowork sits inside Teams, Loop and the Office apps your team already uses, surfacing AI suggestions exactly where work happens.
Grounded in your data
Powered by Microsoft Graph, Cowork reasons over the files, chats and meetings your team has permission to see - and nothing they don't. Use Power BI to visualise the team trends and insights surfaced within your shared AI workspaces.
Enterprise-ready by default
Built on Microsoft's compliance, data residency and identity controls so IT keeps the guardrails while teams get the speed. Our AI consultancy ensures your shared prompts and data are shielded from cyber criminals through rigorous identity governance.
Spotlight: Talks like me
AI that sounds like you, not a chatbot
Talks like me is Cowork's personal voice engine. It studies the way you actually write across your own emails, chats and documents inside Microsoft 365 - your sentence length, vocabulary, formality, even how you sign off - and uses that profile when Cowork drafts on your behalf.
The result: replies, briefs and meeting summaries that genuinely sound like you, so you spend less time rewriting AI output and more time pressing send. Voice profiles are scoped to the individual, stay inside your tenant and can be paused, edited or deleted at any time.
Generic AI draft
"Dear team, I hope this message finds you well. Please find attached the requested document for your review at your earliest convenience."
With Talks like me
"Morning all - draft's attached, take a look when you get a chance and ping me anything that doesn't sit right. Cheers."
Automating team workflows with Cowork
The building blocks that make Cowork different from a single-user assistant, and the point where shared AI turns into business automation.
Talks like me
Talks like me learns each person's tone, phrasing and writing style from their own Microsoft 365 content - so drafts, replies and summaries sound like you wrote them, not a generic chatbot. Voice profiles stay private to the individual and can be paused or deleted at any time.
Team rooms with memory
Persistent Cowork rooms keep prompts, decisions, files and AI outputs together. Anyone joining the room later picks up the full thread instead of starting from zero.
Multi-participant prompting
Several teammates can prompt the same AI agent in parallel, see each other's instructions, and branch or merge ideas - turning prompting into a genuinely collaborative activity.
Meeting-to-action handoff
Cowork captures decisions and owners from Teams meetings and pushes them straight into Planner, Loop or your project tooling, so nothing falls between calls. Integrate these actions with Power Automate to trigger complex business automation workflows across your department.
Agents your team can share
Build reusable Cowork agents for repeatable work - bid responses, weekly reports, onboarding packs - and share them across the team with the right permissions baked in.
Tenant-aware grounding
Every response is grounded in your SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Outlook content, respecting existing sensitivity labels and access rights.
